Red+White+Blue...and the Harriott II
If you’ve ever been to the Riverfront at Downtown Montgomery, you’ve seen the beautiful Harriott II riverboat smiling at you from the water. The inviting decks. The red, white, and blue accents. There is something comforting and familiar about her presence. If I’m being completely honest, from a photographer's stand point I was dying to shoot there because of the gorgeous shade (in our crazy hot summer heat) and all of the white makes for beautiful natural reflectors. The staff was great and granted us access! Thank you Harriott II!!
Dawson, Tori, Kennedy, Madison, & Laney (a few of this year’s Senior Team) were up for the shoot. I LOVE how they each styled their looks. Simple, easy, and showing a bit of their personal style too. We didn’t want anything over the top that would take away from the simple beauty of the location (and of course these gorgeous Seniors). Stephanie Savoie, one of the studio’s makeup artists, came along for the fun and helped with touch ups. She always makes sure everyone is camera ready. And it was extra special having a past senior, Megan Piel, join in as assistant. She is fabulous help. Working lights, holding reflectors, handling all the behind the scenes for social...she is invaluable help! Big thank you hugs to you ladies!
Wishing everyone a safe, happy 4th! May your day be filled with much joy, family time, and maybe a piece of watermelon (or two)!
